An ex stable building in the heart of a Chelsea conservation area. This mews house needed to feel bright and joyful for the client - a collector of wonderful art & ceramics, their brief was to create a distinctive space that celebrated colour and design.

We redesigned the stairs, replacing dated glass balustrades with full height hand-forged steel spindles, made by a renowned British blacksmith. The kitchen is fabricated from timber veneer, with an aged zinc extractor hood & carrara marble bench top. Sliding doors open up onto a small oasis outside, designed by London gardener Emma Lyne.

Special mention must be given to the powder room where a bespoke pale pink onyx vanity is flanked by alabaster & arbascato wall lights & wild floral wallpaper. It was a joy to work with a client who embraced creativity and the space feels distinctive and unique to them, whilst pushing the boundaries of decoration.
